MTS has introduced a new feature in its My MTS mobile application, allowing users to transfer funds directly to Belkart payment system cards. Belkart is the national payment system of Belarus, with over 9 million cards currently in circulation.
Users can fund these transfers using cards from any Russian bank, electronic wallets, or their personal MTS mobile account. Transactions are processed in Russian rubles and converted into Belarusian rubles, with funds typically arriving within a few minutes.
The service allows for a minimum transaction amount of 100 ₽, while the maximum limit for a single transfer and the monthly total is capped at 560,000 ₽. There is no commission fee for these transfers.
To initiate a transfer, users must navigate to the Money tab in the My MTS app, select the International option, choose Belarus, and enter the recipient's card details. The application is accessible to subscribers of any Russian mobile operator.
