MTS, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications of the Khabarovsk Territory, has launched a public Wi-Fi network at the Pervostroiteley Embankment in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The network is accessible to subscribers of all mobile operators following a phone number verification process.
The infrastructure consists of 24 Wi-Fi access points utilizing mesh technology to ensure seamless connectivity throughout the promenade, including sports areas, amphitheaters, and the river station. The total bandwidth reaches up to 200 Mbps, maintaining stable performance during high user traffic.
This project follows the deployment of a similar public Wi-Fi zone at Lenin Square in Khabarovsk, which opened in August 2026. MTS is currently working on a third location at the Khabarovsk embankment. Additionally, the company has provided public Wi-Fi access in all its retail stores in Komsomolsk-on-Amur since December 2025.
Beyond the embankment, MTS has enabled public Wi-Fi access at several specific locations in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, including addresses on Pirogova, Vokzalnaya, Vasyanina, Pobedy, and Gamarnika streets, as well as along Pobedy and Mira avenues.
