MTS has digitized the Teya sports training center in the Republic of Khakassia by installing a new access control system. The facility, which hosts athletes for training and competitions, now utilizes biometric scanners that identify individuals based on the vein patterns in their palms.

The system employs multispectral infrared scanners to create digital templates of users. Athletes and guests can access the tracks using these biometric profiles or traditional entry cards. MTS also provided the necessary telecommunications infrastructure to support the center's operations.

Future plans include the integration of frost-resistant video cameras and RFID cards. These additions will serve as universal keys, allowing users to move through various zones of the complex without needing to present their hands or cards manually.

The Teya center is recognized for its certified mid-mountain tracks, which attract athletes from across the country and abroad for seasonal training. The implementation of this technology aims to enhance security and convenience for both professional athletes and tourists.
