The MT-Integration group has completed a project to implement an automated 3D monitoring system for nitrogen fertilizer stocks at the EuroChem production facility in Kingisepp. This marks the first instance in Russia where continuous laser 3D scanning technology has been integrated into an industrial urea storage warehouse and connected to the enterprise's production loop.

The system calculates the actual volume of products in real time without halting operations. A full inventory check takes approximately 20 minutes with a measurement error of less than 2%. This approach replaces manual surveying methods, which were previously slower and less accurate due to the uneven nature of product piles and limited access to specific warehouse areas.

The solution utilizes a combined approach of laser scanning and radar distance measurement to generate a digital 3D model of the warehouse. Software automatically calculates the volume and mass of the stored products. MT-Integration handled the engineering architecture, hardware integration, and data transmission to the company's corporate information systems.

Following successful testing, the system received certification from the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology as an official measuring instrument. It is now authorized for use in industrial stock accounting. MT-Integration plans to scale this technology for applications in the chemical, mining, construction, and port logistics sectors.
