Lenovo has officially released the Android 17 update for the Motorola Edge 70 smartphone. The update package is 4.3GB in size and includes several new features such as stacked widgets, themed icons, Live Updates components, and notification summaries. The release also focuses on improving overall system performance and stability.

The rollout of Android 17 for Motorola devices has been gradual. The company initiated the beta testing phase in February of this year. Following the initial release for the Signature model last month, the Edge 70 is now the second device to receive the stable version of the operating system.

Some users reported that the depth-of-field lock screen wallpaper feature, which was present during the beta testing, is missing from the final build. A Lenovo representative stated on Reddit that the company may reintroduce this functionality in future over-the-air updates.
