The regional portal of the Moscow Region has updated its digital service for utility payment compensation. According to the Ministry of Public Administration, IT and Communications, the service has been accessed over 96,000 times since the beginning of the year. The update introduces automated checks for residency status and eligibility criteria, such as veteran status or income levels.

The system now automatically verifies if an applicant is registered in the Moscow Region and meets age requirements, displaying alerts if data is missing or incorrect. Additionally, adult family members listed in an application receive automated notifications in their personal accounts to provide consent for personal data processing.

Applicants can now update existing compensation claims if they acquire a new preferential status. The service is available to categories including large families, people with disabilities, combat veterans, and rural teachers. Users must authenticate via ESIA to submit applications, with results provided within five business days.
