The Elar group has supplied the Moscow Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church with the ElarScan A2-400KS planetary scanning system. The equipment includes the professional version of the Elar ScanImage software, which integrates scanning and batch image processing into a single workflow.
The ElarScan A2-400KS is designed for high-volume digitization of bound documents and books without the need for unbinding. The device features a flat glass plate with a locking mechanism that automatically triggers the scanning process when lowered, facilitating the handling of multi-page materials.
The Elar ScanImage software utilizes artificial intelligence to automate the processing of digital copies. Users can apply predefined scanning profiles and templates to ensure consistent parameters across large document sets. The software is listed in the Russian software registry.
The ElarScan product line is officially included in the Unified Register of Russian Radio-Electronic Products. This deployment allows the Moscow Patriarchate to streamline the digitization of its archival materials using domestic hardware and software solutions.
