The decentralized lending protocol Morpho is transferring the management of its Mini App on World App to Featherlend. While Featherlend will handle front-end operations, branding, user support, and infrastructure, the underlying smart contracts will remain under the control of the Morpho protocol.

A governance proposal, identified as MIP 132 and introduced in June 2026, requests a grant of $50 000 in MORPHO tokens to facilitate this transition. These funds are intended to cover rebranding expenses and one year of operational support for Featherlend.

The Mini App, which launched in 2025, has reached over 2.2 million users, including more than 900 000 individuals verified via the World App biometric system. Total deposits in the application exceeded $100 million shortly after its launch.

This move follows a previous transfer of the Morpho Lite app to Feather, the parent organization of Featherlend. Morpho aims to focus its internal resources on developing and maintaining the protocol layer, delegating non-core tasks to specialized external providers.
