The Mont Group has expanded its product portfolio by adding Kaspersky Vulnerability Management. This corporate solution is designed to centralize vulnerability management, enhance IT asset visibility, and reduce the workload for information security teams.
The platform features asset discovery, inventory management, and both agent-based and agentless scanning. It also includes configuration checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, specifically offering pre-configured profiles for FSTEC requirements, including orders 117, 21, 31, and 239.
A centralized console allows for patch management and tracking updates for Windows devices. The solution integrates with the existing Kaspersky ecosystem, including Kaspersky Endpoint Security and Kaspersky SIEM, allowing for deployment by simply adjusting policy parameters on protected hosts.
According to Maria Pogrebnyak from Kaspersky, the tool combines asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, and configuration control into a single system. Viktor Pavlov from Mont noted that the integration with existing Kaspersky products simplifies the adoption process for current users.
