Momenta and Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroen Automobile (DPCA) signed a global strategic partnership agreement on September 24 in Shanghai. The collaboration focuses on enhancing user experience, driver assistance systems, and advanced autonomous driving technologies by integrating smart cockpit solutions and electronic architectures.

The companies will utilize Momenta’s R7 world model to develop high-level intelligent driving systems for future Peugeot and Jeep production vehicles. These models will be deployed across China, Europe, and other international markets, supporting the global digital transformation of the Stellantis group.

The partnership covers joint development of product features, chassis calibration, and system adaptation for various driving scenarios, including urban commuting, highway travel, parking, and off-road conditions. The technology aims to handle complex terrains, such as unpaved roads and uneven surfaces.

The companies plan to launch several new energy vehicle models starting in 2027. These vehicles will feature pure electric and plug-in hybrid powertrains, designed to support diverse use cases ranging from family travel to off-road activities. The collaboration also includes long-term research into L3 autonomous driving technologies.
