Molten Ventures has secured €203 million in the first close of its new Growth Fund. The British Business Bank contributed €87 million as a cornerstone investor, while Molten Ventures provided €116 million. The firm aims to reach a total fund target of €407 million.
The fund focuses on Series B and later-stage technology companies across the UK and Europe. It targets sectors including AI, FinTech, Space, Quantum, DeepTech, and Hardware. Molten Ventures plans to use this capital to build significant ownership positions in high-growth businesses.
Molten Ventures has a history of over 40 growth-profile deals and has invested more than £700 million over the past decade. Since 2016, the firm has deployed over €1.1 billion and currently manages more than €2.3 billion in assets under management.
The company, originally founded in 2006 as Esprit Capital, is listed on the London Stock Exchange. This new vehicle operates alongside the firm's existing strategies, such as Molten Secondaries, to provide institutional capital to scaling technology firms.
