Modus has released version 1.6.14 of its ETL platform, focusing on system stability and performance. The update introduces load balancing for data collection from 1C:Fresh environments, ensuring even distribution across databases to prevent bottlenecks in large-scale deployments.
The new version optimizes the processing of large JSON files, reducing memory consumption and increasing speed. Additionally, the platform now automatically converts 'Type Description' columns from 1C sources into string types, eliminating the need for manual configuration.
The release addresses several technical issues, including errors in the 'Arbitrary Selection' step, FULL JOIN operations, and XLSX/CSV data processing. It also fixes ClickHouse Int type detection and improves the stability of data cleaning steps.
Modus has resolved ten specific bugs related to preset transfers between environments, such as incorrect link handling and binding resets. Preset validation is now performed via manifest analysis without full file extraction, which lowers peak memory usage.
