Mitsubishi has introduced the ASX VR-e, an all-electric hot hatch featuring all-wheel drive. The vehicle is manufactured in Taiwan by Foxconn under its Foxtron automotive brand.

The car is equipped with a 57.7 kWh lithium-ion battery and dual electric motors. This powertrain delivers 459 hp and approximately 700 Nm of torque, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 4 seconds.

The performance figures of the ASX VR-e exceed those of the most powerful combustion-engined Lancer EVO, the Evo X FQ-440 MR, which produced 440 hp.

The ASX VR-e is currently available for purchase in the Australian and Taiwanese markets. The lineup includes several versions with varying performance and range specifications.
