Mitsubishi is reintroducing the L200 pickup to the European and UK markets after a five-year absence. The model, which shares its design with the Triton, will compete against the Ford Ranger and Toyota Hilux. European customers are limited to dual-cab configurations, with specific trim levels available in Germany and the UK.
The vehicle features a 2.4-liter biturbo diesel engine delivering 201 hp and 470 Nm of torque. Depending on the trim, it offers either a six-speed manual transmission with a part-time 4WD system or a six-speed automatic with a permanent 4WD system. The interior includes an 8-inch infotainment display and a 360-degree camera.
In Germany, the L200 Diamant starts at €39 990, while the Diamant Top is priced from €52 990, with sales beginning in November. UK pricing starts at £36 295 for the Titan trim, reaching £39 995 for the Barbarian version. A hybrid powertrain option is expected to be introduced toward the end of the decade.
