London-based neurotechnology startup MintNeuro has secured €4.4 million in a funding round led by Odyssey Ventures. Other participants included 33East, JSK Investments, Alumni Ventures, Empirical Ventures, and Jumpspace Ventures.
Founded in 2022 as a spinout from Imperial College London, the company develops specialized semiconductor chips for neural devices. Its technology is designed for applications such as brain-computer interfaces, neuromodulation systems, and sensory prostheses used to treat conditions like Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, and depression.
The new capital will support the company's transition from technology validation to commercial scale-up. MintNeuro plans to increase customer programs, accelerate product launches, and expand its presence from the UK into global markets, including Silicon Valley.
The startup has already delivered working silicon and established partnerships with developers such as Motif Neurotech and Amber Therapeutics. A multi-year supply agreement with Motif supports the development of a neurostimulator for treatment-resistant depression.
The investment follows a series of funding rounds in the European neurotechnology sector in 2026, which have reached approximately €88.3 million in total. This includes capital raised by companies such as ONWARD Medical, nyra health, and neuroClues.
