Mini has introduced the 2027 Countryman Untamed Edition, an off-road-focused variant of its SUV. The model features a 15-millimeter suspension lift and all-terrain tires, which increase total ground clearance by up to 19 millimeters. The vehicle is equipped with 19-inch wheels, recalibrated steering and stability control systems, and a factory trailer hitch.
The Untamed Edition will be available in the US as the gas-powered Countryman S ALL4 and the electric Countryman SE ALL4. The gas version starts at $45 250, including a destination charge of $1 350. Pricing for the electric variant has not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer.
The exterior design includes redesigned underbody protection, matte-black protective film on wheel arches, and unique color options like Frozen Nomad Blue. The interior features specialized sport seats, knitted dashboard surfaces, and a storage box with elastic straps. Mini also offers branded outdoor accessories, including a rooftop tent developed with AutoHome.
Production of the new model is scheduled to commence in November 2026. Customers in the United States can expect the first vehicle deliveries to begin in early 2027. The SUV supports a maximum towing capacity of 3 500 pounds and a stationary roof-load limit of 661 pounds.
