Microsoft held a hardware and software event in San Francisco, introducing the Surface Laptop Ultra. The device features an Nvidia RTX Spark Arm-based processor and replaces the proprietary Surface Connect port with magnetic USB-C charging. The base model, equipped with an 8-core CPU, 24GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, is priced at $2,599. Sales will begin on October 16.

The company also unveiled the Surface RTX Spark Dev Box, a mini PC designed for developers. Preorders for the unit are currently open at a price of $5,999, with shipping scheduled to start in November.

Updates to the Windows operating system were also presented. These include Hybrid Intelligence features, allowing Copilot to interact with local files to perform tasks, and an updated search interface that supports quick actions directly from the search bar.
