Microsoft has introduced a new battery status widget in the Windows 11 Build 26340.9616 preview version. This tool is designed to provide a centralized view of power levels for both the laptop and connected wireless peripherals.
The widget eliminates the need for users to navigate through Bluetooth settings, system menus, or manufacturer-specific applications. It displays the remaining battery percentage and connection status for devices in a single list.
Users can access this feature via the widget panel by selecting the battery status option. The interface typically places the laptop's own battery level at the top, followed by a list of connected accessories like mice, keyboards, and headphones.
The feature is currently being rolled out to Windows Insider users on recent preview builds. Microsoft has not yet announced a specific timeline for the official release of this widget to the general public.
