Microsoft has launched a trade-in promotion for MacBook Pro owners switching to the new Surface Laptop Ultra. Customers can receive a bonus of up to $1,000 on top of the trade-in value of their old device. The offer is valid for purchases made in the United States and Canada between October 7 and November 23, 2026.
To participate, users must first purchase the new laptop and then submit a trade-in request through the operator Teladvance. The old MacBook must be fully functional, including the screen, components, battery, and charger. The final payout depends on the specific configuration of the new device and the condition of the traded hardware.
The Surface Laptop Ultra is built on the Nvidia RTX Spark platform. Its top configuration features a 20-core processor, 6,144 CUDA cores, and 128 GB of unified memory. The device also includes a Mini-LED display. Pre-orders are currently open with prices starting at $2,599.99, and shipments are scheduled to begin on October 16.
