Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox Nano Controller, a compact gamepad priced at $49.99 or £44.99. The device measures slightly over five inches in length and weighs 3.5 ounces, while incorporating 18 standard inputs and a programmable button for capturing gameplay content.
The controller features both Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, powered by an internal rechargeable battery. It is compatible with Xbox consoles, Windows PCs, mobile devices running iOS or Android, and specific smart TV models.
Pre-orders for the device are currently live. The official market launch is scheduled for November 4 across 36 countries, including the US, UK, and Japan. Microsoft also plans to offer holiday bundles in the US, pairing the controller with Samsung TVs or Meta Quest headsets.
The release coincides with new restrictions for Xbox Cloud Gaming, which will introduce monthly time limits starting in November. Depending on the subscription tier, users will be capped at 5, 10, or 15 hours of cloud gaming per month, with additional time available for purchase.
