Microsoft announced that hundreds of AAA and indie titles will be compatible with NVIDIA RTX Spark PCs at launch. Pavan Davuluri, head of Windows and Devices, confirmed this during a company event on October 7. The RTX Spark platform utilizes Arm-based CPUs, requiring games to run on Windows on Arm.
Despite the broad compatibility, the Call of Duty franchise will not be available at launch. Support for these titles is scheduled for 2027. The delay is likely linked to the Ricochet anti-cheat system, which currently functions only on x86 architectures and requires rebuilding for the Arm-based environment.
The Surface Laptop Ultra, which features RTX Spark hardware, starts at $2599 and begins shipping on October 16. During the presentation, Davuluri demonstrated Gears of War: E-Day running at 60 FPS on the device, though specific resolution and upscaling settings were not provided.
NVIDIA launched the RTX Spark development toolkit for Windows-on-Arm in July. Several major publishers have already pledged support for the platform, including EA, Embark, and Ubisoft. Confirmed titles for the ecosystem include Apex Legends, ARC Raiders, and Anno 117: Pax Romana.
