Microsoft and IKEA have launched the YXSTABY gaming furniture collection, which includes nine items designed in collaboration between the two companies. The series draws inspiration from the Xbox wireless controller, with the thumbstick-shaped stool directly utilizing the controller's original 3D design data.
The collection features a variety of items, including a gaming lounge chair, a TV stand with casters, a gaming desk with casters, a monitor stand, a laptop stand, a controller display box, a D-Pad cushion, and a tray. The stool is available in green and black and includes a storage pocket for accessories.
Pricing in the US market ranges from $17.99 to $179.99. Specifically, the gaming lounge chair is priced at $119.99, the thumbstick stool at $49.99, the TV stand at $149.99, and the gaming desk at $179.99. Other accessories range from $17.99 to $39.99.
Availability varies by region. In Japan, the collection went on sale on October 1 across physical stores, the online shop, and the IKEA app. In Germany, the products are listed with prices ranging from €12.99 to €129, with an expected arrival date of October 1, 2026.
