Micron has officially marked its entire lineup of 16Gb GDDR7 memory products as End of Life. The affected components include two specific models, identified by part numbers MT68A512M32DF-32:A and MT68A512M32DF-28:A, which were listed on the company's official website.
The discontinued 16Gb memory chips operated at 1.2 volts and offered equivalent data rates of 32Gbps and 28Gbps respectively. Both products were manufactured in a TFBGA package format. It remains unclear if Micron maintains any other 16Gb GDDR7 production lines that were not publicly disclosed.
Despite the discontinuation of these 16Gb chips, Micron continues to supply 24Gb GDDR7 memory products to the market. Customers, including companies like NVIDIA, retain access to 16Gb GDDR7 alternatives through other major manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
