A station wagon version of the MG 07 has been spotted undergoing road tests in China. New spy photos reveal a roof-mounted LiDAR unit on the camouflaged test vehicle, suggesting the integration of Momenta’s assisted driving system, which supports Navigation on Autopilot and automated parking.

The wagon shares its front design, including the C-shaped headlights and A-pillar, with the sedan model. The vehicle features a high rear roofline, a spoiler, a rear wiper, and a taillight bar with side vents. The test mule was observed using 7-spoke two-tone wheels.

The MG 07 sedan, which serves as the basis for the wagon, achieved over 42 000 locked orders within 20 days of its launch. The sedan is currently priced between ¥108 900 and ¥159 900, or approximately $16 200 to $23 800.

Powertrain options for the sedan include a PHEV version with a 1.5-litre engine and 30 kWh battery, as well as 400V and 800V EV trims. The 400V model uses a 67 kWh semi-solid-state battery, while the 800V version features a 91 kWh ternary NMC battery from CATL.
