Merlion has launched an online educational project called 'Virtualization School' for its B2B partners. The two-month program, running through September and October, focuses on training technical specialists and sales teams to work with domestic virtualization platforms.
The curriculum covers products from major Russian developers, including Orion soft, Red Soft, ISP System, Inscale, Pangeo Horizon, NII Mashtab, Rosplatforma, Basalt SPO, Dacom M, and Basis. Participants will study architecture, functional capabilities, and deployment scenarios.
The training includes live demonstrations, case studies, and Q&A sessions with developers. Sales-focused modules address product positioning and objection handling. According to Mikhail Stepanyuk, director of the software and corporate systems department at Merlion, the program aims to provide a comprehensive view of the Russian IT landscape.
Analysts project that the Russian virtualization market will grow by over 20% annually, potentially exceeding 50 ₽ billion by 2030. This growth has created a significant demand for skilled professionals capable of implementing and selling these solutions in complex integration projects.
