The new electric E-Class will be built on the same MB.EA architecture as the electric C-Class and GLC. It is expected to feature an 800V electrical system with a maximum charging power of 330 kW.
If the dual-motor E400 version uses the same powertrain as the C400 4MATIC, its maximum power output could reach 360 kW (489 hp), with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in slightly over 4 seconds.
Interior design is expected to follow current Mercedes-Benz electric models, with top-tier versions likely featuring the MBUX Hyperscreen spanning the entire dashboard. The passenger-side display may require an additional payment.
