Mercedes-AMG has introduced a new V8 coupe, which the company officially named Spezialanfertigung. The term translates to custom-made or bespoke, reflecting the exclusive nature of the vehicle. Despite the complex name, the manufacturer reports that the entire production run of 30 units has already been sold out.

The naming choice has drawn attention after a promotional video showed Mercedes F1 drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli struggling to pronounce the word. Team CEO and co-owner Toto Wolff eventually intervened to demonstrate the correct pronunciation of the German compound word.

The vehicle represents the second model in the ultra-exclusive series from Mercedes, following the SL-based PureSpeed. While the company considered other potential names like Black Series, CLE 63, or Mythos, it ultimately opted for the current designation for this limited-edition project.
