MegaFon has completed a network infrastructure upgrade in the Rossoshansky district of the Voronezh region. The project focused on expanding coverage and increasing mobile internet speeds in the city of Rossosh and several rural settlements.
In Rossosh, engineers activated low-frequency bands to improve signal strength in public areas, including Yubileyny and Studenchesky parks, the local cultural center, and the museum. The upgrade also covers residential neighborhoods such as Elevator, Sverdlova, and Elektrika.
Connectivity improvements were also implemented at the railway station and the Tankistov Square. These enhancements aim to provide more stable mobile signals for commuters and residents in high-traffic urban zones.
The network expansion extends to rural areas, including the villages of Morozovka, Arkhipovka, Novaya Kalitva, Popovka, Lizinovka, and Ivanovka. According to the operator, these changes directly affect 9,000 residents living in these locations.
