MegaFon has expanded its LTE network coverage in the Veer Park residential area in Yekaterinburg. The operator installed new telecommunications equipment to improve connectivity for residents within their apartments, courtyards, and the nearby park area.

The newly deployed infrastructure operates across multiple frequency bands to maintain a stable signal both indoors and outdoors. According to the company, the network is configured to handle the anticipated increase in traffic as more residential buildings are completed in the area.

The upgraded network provides data transmission speeds of up to 80 Mbps. This capacity is intended to support activities such as online navigation, music streaming, and remote work. The project follows a similar network modernization effort recently completed by the operator in the Academichesky district of Yekaterinburg.
