MegaFon has upgraded its network infrastructure at the A.S. Lukashevsky Regional Hospital in the village of Krutoberegovo, Kamchatka. The operator installed dedicated telecommunications equipment to ensure stable 4G coverage across the new medical complex, which includes a diagnostic center and a ward building.

The deployment of this local infrastructure allows for mobile internet speeds reaching up to 200 Mbps. Previously, the facility relied on signals from neighboring base stations, which were insufficient for the new medical campus. The upgrade now supports high-capacity data traffic and VoLTE services for both staff and patients.

According to Maria Evstifeeva, director of MegaFon in the Kamchatka Territory, the improved network capacity is essential for the hospital's daily operations. It facilitates data exchange among medical personnel and enables patients to use digital services and stay connected with their families while at the facility.
