Mikhail Kharchenko has been appointed as the new director of the MegaFon regional branch in the Sakhalin region. His primary responsibilities include implementing the company's development strategy for both mass and corporate markets, as well as improving operational performance across the region.

Kharchenko began his career in the telecommunications industry in 2007 in Volgograd, where he advanced from a sales agent to a regional director. He has previously held management positions in Volgograd, Krasnoyarsk, Sochi, and Stavropol, focusing on sales channel management and business development strategies.

The new director is tasked with increasing the subscriber base and expanding B2B projects with commercial and government entities. Additionally, his agenda includes extending 4G coverage across Sakhalin and ensuring reliable connectivity along the region's federal highways.

According to Maxim Tokarenko, director of regional development for MegaFon in Siberia and the Far East, Kharchenko will focus on increasing market share, strengthening the retail network, and enhancing the customer experience. Infrastructure development in small settlements is also a key priority.
