MegaFon has expanded its mobile network to nine additional small settlements in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The project was implemented as part of the federal program aimed at eliminating digital inequality.

The new coverage includes four villages in the Ust-Aldansky District: Sasylykan, Elyasin, Dygdal, and Tit-Ary. Additionally, network access was provided in Ulakhan-Kyuyel, Markha, Bestyakh, Saidy, and Kalvitsa.

Each of the nine settlements has a population of fewer than 300 residents. According to the company, the total number of people who gained access to the network through joint projects this year reached 1,300.

Natalia Nekrasova, director of MegaFon in Yakutia, stated that the company is expanding its infrastructure through both internal construction and partnerships with other operators to serve remote areas.
