MegaFon has expanded its network infrastructure in Gryazi, the third-largest city in the Lipetsk region. The deployment of new base stations has increased the local network capacity by 25%. These improvements are designed to support the connectivity needs of more than 40,000 residents and local businesses.

The new equipment operates in the mid- and high-frequency LTE bands, which enhances mobile internet speeds. One of the key installations is located near the Gryazi-Volgogradskie railway hub, a critical logistics point that serves the local industrial sector and the Gryazi site of the Lipetsk Special Economic Zone.

The infrastructure upgrade covers several vital areas, including the local locomotive depot, educational institutions, and the bridge over the Matyra River. According to Dmitry Khoroshev, director of MegaFon in the Lipetsk region, these investments are aimed at supporting the city's logistics and business development.

Regional Governor Igor Artamonov noted that the expansion of telecommunications infrastructure is a strategic step for the region. By improving connectivity in key industrial and residential zones, the project aims to strengthen the investment climate and support the growth of the local economy.
