MegaFon has expanded its mobile network infrastructure in the Pereslavsky district of the Yaroslavl region. The deployment of new telecommunications equipment has increased mobile internet speeds for local residents by 20%.

The network improvements cover the villages of Veslevo, Skulino, Gorki, Veskovo, Kopnino, Andiranovo, Berendeevo, and the settlement of Dubki. Data traffic in these locations rose by 10% in September compared to the same period last year.

The new infrastructure supports both LTE and GSM standards, providing internet speeds of up to 40 Mbit/s. Coverage now extends to residential areas, schools, kindergartens, shops, and cultural centers.

Sergey Timonin, director of MegaFon in the Yaroslavl region, stated that the company aims to provide consistent connectivity for residents, summer visitors, and travelers. Since the start of 2026, the operator has also upgraded 4G coverage in the Nekrasovsky, Yaroslavsky, and Uglichsky districts.
