MegaFon has upgraded its telecommunications infrastructure across five locations in the Republic of Khakassia, including Abakan, Sorsk, Podsineye, Pushnoye, and Malyye Arbaty. The project provides over 15,000 residents with improved LTE coverage and network stability.
Engineers utilized low-frequency bands to enhance signal penetration in rural areas, allowing for consistent connectivity inside buildings. Data transmission speeds in the upgraded areas have reached 100 Mbps, supporting services such as telemedicine and government portals.
In Malyye Arbaty, the deployment of VoLTE technology now enables residents to use mobile internet simultaneously during voice calls. In the city of Sorsk, infrastructure improvements cover key social facilities, including a hospital, a polyclinic, and a school.
In the capital city of Abakan, MegaFon installed new LTE equipment in the Arban district to ensure uniform coverage across multi-story residential buildings. Additionally, the operator upgraded network facilities in the Samokhval dacha area to maintain high speeds for users.
