MegaFon has expanded its 4G network coverage in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, providing over 8,000 residents in the Krasnoturansky and Kuraginsky districts with mobile internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps. The operator installed new telecommunications equipment to enhance signal strength and data transmission capabilities in these rural areas.

The network upgrade covers several locations, including the city of Artemovsk, as well as the villages of Zherbatikha, Petropavlovka, Cheremshanka, Imisskoye, Krasnoturansk, Vostochnoye, Moiseyevka, Sayansk, and Sovetskaya Khakassia. According to Danila Budanov, head of the technical department at MegaFon in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, this infrastructure modernization aims to provide remote residents with reliable access to digital services.

The improved connectivity allows local users to utilize cloud services, engage in remote work, and participate in online education, including accessing test databases and video lessons. Additionally, the company recently extended high-speed internet access to the villages of Zaozerka in the Abansky district and Cheremushki in the Karatuzsky district.
