MegaFon has upgraded its network equipment in Muravlenko, specifically targeting the Central district. This modernization effort aims to address increasing loads on the telecom infrastructure to ensure stable voice communication and mobile internet access both outdoors and indoors.
The city of Muravlenko ranks third in the Yamal region in terms of monthly data transmission volume, following New Urengoy and Noyabrsk. Following the upgrade, the users in the Central district now have access to data transfer speeds of up to 80 Mbps.
Since the beginning of the year, MegaFon has modernized or built approximately 50 base stations across the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. This initiative includes upgrades in Salekhard, Nadym, and Gubkinsky, among other territories in the region.
