TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 will take place in San Francisco from October 13 to 15. The event features the Startup Battlefield competition, where five venture capital firm leaders will select the winner.
The judging panel includes Stacy Brown-Philpot of Cherryrock Capital, Chi-Hua Chien of Goodwater Capital, and Dayna Grayson of Construct Capital. They are joined by Carter Reum of M13 and Alexa Von Tobel of Inspired Capital.
M13 currently manages $1.9 billion in assets and has backed over 200 companies, including 15 unicorns. Other judges bring experience from firms like Kleiner Perkins, Accel, and NEA, with portfolios featuring numerous unicorns.
Following the competition, the judges will participate in a live AMA session on the Builders Stage. Attendees can discuss fundraising, company scaling, and investment strategies with the panel.
Registration for the event is open, with discounts available for group bookings and second passes. A special Expo+ pass is also offered for $75 for individuals affected by layoffs.
