MediaTek has officially unveiled the Dimensity CX C10 Max processor, designed as a core component for the new Googlebook laptop platform. This chip is built using TSMC's 3nm process and features an eight-core CPU, an eleven-core GPU, and the NPU 890 AI engine, delivering up to 55 TOPS of local AI performance.

The CPU architecture utilizes an 'All Big Core' design, consisting of one Arm Cortex-X925, three Cortex-X4, and four Cortex-A720 cores. The chip includes 12MB of L3 cache and 10MB of system-level cache, while supporting LPDDR5X memory at speeds up to 9600MT/s, an improvement over the 8533MT/s found in the Kompanio Ultra 910.

The platform integrates the Imagiq 1090 ISP, supporting cameras up to 32MP and AI-enhanced video features. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 with speeds up to 7.3Gbps and dual-engine Bluetooth 6.0. These specifications aim to support Google Gemini Intelligence features directly on the device.

Googlebook is positioned as a new platform merging Android and ChromeOS technologies, with Intel and Qualcomm expected to join MediaTek as hardware suppliers. The C10 Max is scheduled to launch alongside the first Googlebook device, though specific pricing and manufacturer details remain undisclosed.
