McLaren is preparing to expand its lineup with a new mid-engined hybrid supercar, currently designated as the P34. The vehicle will feature a newly developed twin-turbocharged hybrid V6 engine capable of producing approximately 800 lb-ft of torque.
The P34 is positioned in the brand's portfolio between the Artura and the 750S models. According to dealer information, the starting price for the new supercar is expected to be around $313 000, which is lower than the cost of the 750S.
The design of the P34 draws inspiration from the classic McLaren F1. Interior features will include a digital instrument cluster and a large infotainment display, while the exterior will be equipped with a tempered-glass engine cover.
The company, now owned by CYVN Holdings, confirmed plans to launch several new models by 2028. Beyond the P34, McLaren is developing a new front-engined grand tourer, which is expected to take the form of a sedan.
