The Max messenger team has introduced new security features to combat fraudulent activity. The system now performs real-time link analysis, displaying a warning popup if a URL is identified as a potential threat.

A secondary protection layer automatically activates a restricted mode for 24 hours if a user is targeted by scammers. During this period, only contacts from the user's address book can initiate calls or add the user to chats.

Users receive notifications about security status changes through a dedicated bot. These settings can be managed manually in the security section, and the restricted mode automatically disables after one day.

As of October, the Max platform reports a user base exceeding 140 million. The application provides features including messaging, audio and video calls, file transfers, and integrated financial services.
