The Max messenger has introduced a dual-layer security system to protect users from malicious links. Every URL clicked within the application is now analyzed in real-time by automated systems. If a link is identified as a threat, the user receives a warning via a pop-up notification.

Users targeted by potential scammers are automatically placed into a 'Safe Mode' for 24 hours. During this period, only contacts from the user's address book can initiate calls or add the user to new group chats. This security measure is triggered automatically without requiring manual configuration.

Users are notified about the activation of Safe Mode through the official Max bot. While the mode expires automatically after one day, users retain the ability to manage or disable the setting manually at any time within the security section of the messenger's settings menu.
