The Max messenger has introduced a polling feature for its channels. Administrators can now create polls by accessing the attachment menu, where they can define questions, set answer options, and optionally attach a cover image. The tool also supports multi-choice voting and allows users to change their responses after submission.
The functionality is currently available for administrators on Android, desktop, and web versions. iOS users can access the poll creation tool via the mobile web version of the messenger. Before the public launch, the feature underwent preliminary testing by several hundred channel authors, including public figures such as Alexander Tsypkin, Tutta Larsen, and Maryana Naumova.
Max reports that its total user base has surpassed 140 million people. The platform currently offers features including standard chats, audio and video calls, voice messaging, large file transfers, and money transfers. The company notes that its information channels are still operating in a test mode.
