MANTRA Chain has launched a governance vote on Proposal #39, which proposes the creation of a Community Pool and the MANTRA Assistance Fund (MAF). The voting process began on October 2, 2026, and is scheduled to conclude on October 8, 2026.
The Community Pool is intended to fund ecosystem development, specifically targeting liquidity provision, application support, and network integrations. The proposal does not involve the issuance of new tokens or changes to existing token emission schedules.
The MANTRA Assistance Fund will utilize fees earned by a MANTRA-operated validator on the NVNM Chain. These fees, generated from stablecoin transactions, will be used to conduct open-market buybacks of MANTRA tokens.
MANTRA Chain is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain focused on the tokenization of real-world assets. As of mid-2025, the token inflation rate for the project was 8%.
Detailed operational procedures and fund allocation plans are expected to be released via MANTRA Chain explorers and the governance forum following the conclusion of the voting period.
