MAN Truck & Bus has announced a significant expansion of its European service and sales network, with a total investment of €700 million planned by the end of 2030. This budget includes €300 million from the company itself and €400 million contributed by its dealers, service partners, and importers.
Approximately one-third of these funds will support electromobility and digitalization. Key initiatives include high-voltage training for staff, the establishment of battery repair centers, and the installation of public charging points for electric trucks at MAN branches in partnership with E.On.
The charging infrastructure project aims to deploy up to 400 charging points across 170 locations in Europe, with 125 of these sites situated in Germany. Operational charging stations have already been established in Berlin-Wildau, Fürstenwalde, Karlsfeld, Eugendorf, and Čestlice.
The company currently operates a network of approximately 1,200 business locations across Europe, employing 7,000 people. MAN aims to ensure that nearly 80 percent of its customers are within a 30-minute travel time of a service point by 2030, prioritizing markets such as Germany, France, the UK, and Spain.
To achieve this density, MAN is opening an average of seven new branches annually. Recent developments include the construction of a new facility near Lisbon, Portugal, and a large-scale sales and service center in Kaunas, Lithuania, operated by the partner Adampolis Group.
