Boat owners can now verify their operating rights using the Digital ID feature within the Maks application. To confirm their status, users simply open the document card in the Digital ID section and present a QR code for inspection by Ministry of Emergency Situations personnel.
To generate a Digital ID, users must navigate to the designated section, select the Create QR option, and provide consent for data transfer via the Gosuslugi portal. In addition to operating licenses, the Transport section of the service provides access to vessel registration certificates.
The Digital ID serves as a QR-based alternative to physical documents, allowing users to verify identity, age, and eligibility for benefits. As of October 2026, the service has reached a user base exceeding 10 million people, facilitating tasks such as hotel check-ins and age verification.
