The Maicong Ace 68 Air 2 keyboard is now available in two new color options: Amber Gold and Mint Ice. The device is currently on sale across all major platforms, with pricing starting at ¥289 for the Polar magnetic switch version and ¥329 for the Taishan magnetic switch model.
The updated keyboard retains the design language of the Ace 68 Air Super Competitive edition while introducing a dedicated physical button on the side for Rapid Trigger (RT) control. This addition is intended to simplify the process of switching between different input modes.
The keyboard features a 65% layout and supports an 8kHz polling rate combined with a 256kHz scanning rate. The manufacturer specifies a latency of 0.08ms and an RT precision of 0.001mm.
The hardware configuration includes an aluminum alloy positioning plate and a five-layer acoustic damping structure. Users can choose between character-backlit or top-frosted keycaps, and the device features an Air rhythmic light box on the rear side with an upper-position LED PCB design.
