Retailer Magnit has launched a parcel delivery service called Magnit Posylki, which is currently available for individual customers. The service allows users to track shipments and is accessible via applications on Google Play and Apple App Store.

Although the app description mentions coverage of over 3,000 localities, the company reported that as of late September 2026, the service was only operational in approximately 900 locations where Magnit stores are present. Full-scale intercity delivery is expected to launch in October 2026.

As of mid-summer 2026, the Magnit network included over 33,600 stores across 72 Russian regions. Experts note that while the company has the necessary infrastructure, stores require additional equipment for sorting, storage, and processing returns to function as full-fledged delivery points.

The new service operates on a model similar to X5 Group's 5Post. Magnit faces competition from major players including CDEK, Russian Post, Yandex Dostavka, Wildberries, and Ozon. Additionally, 2GIS entered the parcel delivery market in September 2026.

This move follows Magnit's unsuccessful attempt to enter the marketplace segment. In 2023, the company acquired Kazan Express to launch Magnit Market, which was subsequently closed. M.Video has reportedly shown interest in taking over the former pick-up points.
