Magnit ADS, the advertising division of the Magnit retail chain, has expanded its digital shelf banner network. The system now includes over 2,700 displays installed across more than 550 retail locations in Russia.

The advertising format is currently operational in over 15 cities, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Perm, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, and Tyumen. The technology covers eight distinct product categories.

The digital shelf banner is a vertical display placed directly on store shelves to show dynamic content, product images, and pricing. The project was first launched in October 2025 in Moscow's Central Administrative District.

Advertisers can choose from three placement scenarios: within their own product category, in cross-category setups based on consumption patterns, or by targeting specific audience segments.

According to a study involving 800 participants using eye-tracking technology, the shelf banner is considered a highly relevant and noticeable advertising format within the retail environment.
