The Hangzhou Lingyue Lynk & Co Center issued an official statement regarding a fire incident involving a Lynk & Co 900 vehicle. The incident occurred on September 9, 2026, at 16:06, while the car was parked near a commercial shop.
According to the owner, the fire was caused by a power bank that had been dropped by an unknown person and kicked under the vehicle. The company clarified that the fire did not originate from the vehicle's power battery or any internal system.
The dealership responded to the scene immediately after receiving the report. The area was cordoned off according to standard procedures, and the final cause of the fire will be confirmed by the official report from the local fire department.
The company stated that online claims suggesting the Lynk & Co 900 spontaneously combusted are inaccurate. The dealership warned that it reserves the right to pursue legal action against those spreading false information regarding the incident.
